Open-ended working group on nuclear disarmament 2013
In October 2012, the General Assembly decided to convene an open-ended working group (OEWG) to develop proposals to take forward multilateral nuclear disarmament negotiations for the achievement and maintenance of a world without nuclear weapons. The OEWG was chaired by Ambassador Manuel B. Dengo Benavides of Costa Rica and met between 14-24 May, 27-28 June, and 19-30 August 2013.
